Community is a woven blanket illustrated with flowers gathered in one shared vessel.

Each flower comes from a different place, carrying its own shape, color, and history. Together, they exist in the same space - supported by the same structure, nourished by the same resources, surviving and growing side by side.

This piece is a quiet reminder that we are not meant to be identical, but connected. Our differences are not something to fix, but something to hold. When placed together, they create strength, balance, and beauty that cannot exist alone.

This blanket brings Community, one of my most personal illustrations, into a tactile and functional form. Woven on state-of-the-art Jacquard looms, each blanket is crafted from over 8 miles of 100% natural cotton thread, creating a rich, detailed translation of the artwork’s shapes, textures, and rhythm.

My signature stippling texture, built from countless small dots, is carefully woven into the fabric, allowing the process to enhance every detail.
