Between Spirit and Matter – The Physical Creation vs. Metaphysical Process

I’m drawn to capturing the nuances that occur between a man and a woman.
They live in the small details. In the zoomed-in view. In the brush of fingertips or the depth of a lingering touch.
To capture the moment, the movement, the passion, the merging.
The divine.

I sat down to draw.
When I approached the page, I didn’t know what would emerge. The creation is entirely intuitive.
So many possible frames of body-to-body connection raced through my mind.
So many ways to portray points of contact.
What can describe a feeling or a sensation?
What form will it take?

The work emerges from a dark canvas, and the bodies begin to take shape as particles of light enter and reveal them - as if uncovering my desires and passions, illuminating them from the depths of my consciousness.

I love seeing the artwork alive, moving, evolving—breathing life into the shifting bodies that form from it, until the moment they freeze. That precise moment when I feel they have reached a state close to expressing the emotion that longed to come through.

My intuitive choices continue to sharpen. Fragments of souls dissolve and rebuild.
They merge. Yin and Yang. Black and white. Contrast.
The texture born in my previous works seems to have been waiting to fully realize itself here - evoking frequency, vibration, bodies and matter dissolving into one another, and both into space.
Diffusion.
Boundaries blur.
Halos emerge.
A glow is born.

The wide spectrum of physical contact between two bodies ranges from gentle, focused touch to expansive, powerful connection.
In the visual language, too, there are sharp and defined areas that draw attention and focus presence, and there are blurred and abstract zones that evoke movement, merging, and expansion.
The blurred and the defined coexist - in both the meeting of bodies and in the artwork.
Together they create another layer of contrast - a path that invites the eye to wander across the image until it finds the focus. Just like the touch that centers itself on a single point until energy is released.

I find myself increasingly drawn to the zoom-in perspective. Each time I go deeper, discovering new worlds. The outer boundaries are no longer within sight. Their existence is forgotten—they are irrelevant.
Removing the edges allows the viewer to dive into the space and fill in the missing pieces through their own imagination. To tell their story through the memory of their own body. To merge with the artwork.

Just like looking inward - the deeper we go, the more the outer space expands.
The borders disappear.
Consciousness expands.
And we unite with ourselves.

This project is born from passion.
It is my calling to offer a new perspective and give visual form to energetic processes of merging, unification, and expansion - to resonate with and awaken the body’s memory of the experience.
A memory that spans thousands of years.
